I don't know how many of you have heard of Dave Ramsey but that's who's plan I am following. Now, I'm not a hardcore Ramsey follower ("You must follow everything to the T!"). No. Everyone's situation is different and we all need to tailor things to fit our lifestyles. But you also have to be dedicated in following through. So I guess in a way, you all will be my accountability partners. We follow the 7 Baby Steps listed to the left. We have completed Baby Step 1 and are now on Baby Step 2. But before you start these steps YOU NEED TO HAVE A PLAN! It's called a budget. It's a plan for all your money and where it is going to go. There are a few budgeting software programs you can use. My personal favorite that I've become accustomed to is Mint. It tracks my budgets, incomes, spending and I can set goals for things. I also use plain pencil and paper because I need to write it for it stick and I need a visual. Some other examples of budgeting programs are YNAB (You Need A Budget), CalendarBudget and Others. Here is a link to the top 10 Budget Software's.
